Photo CD

Kodak introduced the Photo CD onto the market in 1992. This carrier can store up to 100 high-quality images and scans[1], which can only be displayed using a Photo CD or CD-i player connected to a television, or with special software on a computer.

Did you know…

… the Photo CD was mainly used by professional photographers in the 1990s as a relatively affordable way of storing digital photos? It gained little traction with the general public, however.
