This dark grey cassette with an accent colour at the top is a DVCAM tape, also known as Digital Video. Its production started in 1995. It was the professional version of the standard DV format. With a maximum recording time of 184 minutes, videographers could go wild.

… that the producers had agreed upon a colour code to tell the difference between the formats DV, DVCPro and DVCAM ore easily ? A great idea, except that not all producers stuck to that agreement. That is why you can find DVCAMs in different colours.
